    • How often must the leak test be carried out?

      Leak tests are carried out once a year. The leak test is part of the maintenance plan. The leak test detects leaks at an early stage and allows them to be rectified quickly.

    • Are there any special environmental conditions that need to be taken into account?

      During the leak test, the room should be empty and warm. Other factors could otherwise falsify the test results and the result would therefore not be accurate. There is also a risk to our fitters if they have to climb over obstacles to carry out the test.

    • How are leakage tests carried out on gas-tight bearings?

      Gas-tight bearings are usually tested for leaks using a blower to ensure that no unwanted leaks occur. The air is pressed out once using the blower and then pressed back in again. These cross measurements are carried out within 2 minutes. These tests are crucial to ensure the tightness of the bearing.
